(
Grants are generally issued in the first quarter of the calendar year.) We all have important values and ideas,
things we care about. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how
they can affect the lives of animals living in shelters and make all our lives better.
The Edith J. Goode Residuary Trust was established to
meet sheltering objectives for animal welfare. We will consider organizations based on their intent to meet these guidelines. - Organizations that are seeking scholarship support for staff training
in non-profit management to increase effectiveness in preventing animal cruelty.
- Organizations seeking to evaluate their effectiveness in preventing animal suffering.
- Organizations requiring assistance in collecting data from surveys
outlining animal demographics in shelters and analyzing trends in shelter numbers and data to guide in the development of
more effective programs.
